Become a member of UNAC Victoria by making a donation and contributing to our ongoing efforts to educate about issues that affect us all locally and globally. UNAC Victoria does ask for a minimum donation of $5 as a one time membership fee. We believe all Victorians should have the opportunity to become members and be changemakers, regardless of their financial situation. But we do encourage new members to consider a donation of $20-$30.
Funds donated go to the head office first, and then are reimbursed to the branch for any new memberships. To complete your donation to become a member, please visit UNAC’s donation site via Canada Helps.
NOTE: To ensure your membership to the Victoria Branch is recognized, you must write “Victoria BC Branch membership” in the Messages section of the online form.
Benefits of membership include:
- Members are invited to participate (and vote) as part of the Victoria branch.
- Members are encouraged to become active volunteers within UNA-Canada.
- Members are invited to participate in national and local Annual General Meetings.
- Members may ask to be included in a periodic local or national e-newsletters.
- Members are encouraged to become active volunteers within UNA-Canada.
- Membership donations of $15 and up are receiptable for tax purposes.
